About Our Chicken Shawarma and Donair Plates

Shawarma and donair share the same technique - seasoned meat stacked on a vertical spit, roasted slowly and shaved thin - and both are staples at Canadian Choice Pizza and Donairs. On a plate we lay the freshly carved halal meat over fries, add onions, tomatoes and lettuce, and finish with sweet donair sauce or garlic sauce as you prefer.

It is the halal comfort food plate northeast Edmonton looks for: generous, hot and priced for a working lunch or a late dinner. If you would rather have it wrapped, the same meat goes into our Beef Donair and Mix Donair.
